Wow Its been a little while since I wrote on here. Its kinda sad since I just started it. I found a ton of final prints that never got matted so the online portfolio marches on. Unfortunatly I have not gotten past the data collection process. Working over time does not make working on a home business a fast process. I have been getting increasingly excited about the winter season coming up. Having dreams of snowfall and rails. Hope to stretch my journalist muscle this season and catch a couple of air competitions. I will say good bye to summer this year with a picture of Isabelle in the pack we took up Thousand Island Lake. I have this very nostalgic feeling eating an apple the other day and I couldnt firgure it out. It just dawned on me that it is the same kind of apple Grandma Darner used to grow in her backyard. Another nod to summer I guess. Honey Crips apples are great right now ;)

Art and the Evolutionary throwback. If the creation of the electric violin or guitar never wiped the relevance of the Wooden ones off the earth, maybe we have hope. A huge part of me hopes and wishes that the atavistic art styles make a turn and come into fasion agian. I feel like I could have captured the analog life style just as easily if I took a picture of my twin lens 120mm Camera that sits on my shelf unfixable. It might have been even more powerful but it saddens me when not 5 years ago knowing how to develop a roll of film was a great tool to knowing photography. Now we go no further then clicking the button and sending it along the USB super highway to photoshop. I would like to see how far I get in this site with out ever registering my PHotoshop software. I might find some pictures need a bit of contrast, I might just have to reshoot them. Its the best part of the process anyway.

Ok lets just see how this works out. Never blogged before and since building my own before trying it out seems to be proving difficult to the extreme this will have to be a starting point. I have doubts the anyone will want to read what I write so this is more for me then anyone.

Frontpage, do I want to have a frontpage? Very industrial looking. I am an artist but fortunatly not stuck to that, I get to be a business at the same time. Maybe an industrial front could look clean, maybe a bit approachable. I may not be a good speller but at least I know what looks wrong since thats the only way to spell check in OSX.

Blog page is needed but it should be a small part of the profile page which will only link up through frontpage. Blog will be personal but inteneded at showing thoughts about perfessional aspects of the site.
